Attendance Getting Started
Before using Attendance, an administrator must create your Employee profile, assign an applicable shift, and grant the permissions needed for your role.
First checks
Section titled “First checks”- Sign in to QTO ERP.
- Confirm Attendance is visible in navigation.
- Open the Attendance page.
- Confirm you can see your current status card and clock action.
- If Attendance shows a missing shift or access error, contact an administrator.
Daily use
Section titled “Daily use”- Select Clock In when your work session starts.
- Use Break In when taking a manual break.
- Use Break Out when returning from break.
- Select Clock Out when work ends.
- Review the row created in Attendance Records.
- Use Make Correction Request if the row is wrong.
Planned leave
Section titled “Planned leave”- Open My Leave Requests.
- Select Apply for Leave.
- Choose the leave policy and dates.
- Add the reason and any required documents.
- Submit the request and track its status.
Common access issues
Section titled “Common access issues”| Symptom | Likely reason |
|---|---|
| Attendance page is hidden | Your role does not have a page permission. |
| Clock In or Clock Out is unavailable | Missing attendance.can_checkin_checkout. |
| Break controls are unavailable | Missing attendance.can_break_in_out or no active attendance session. |
| Team filters are hidden | Missing team or all-attendance access. |
| Check-in fails with no shift assigned | No applicable active shift is assigned to your Employee profile. |
