Applicant Screening and Offers

Applicant Screening is used after candidates have moved through review and interview steps. It brings together screening information and offer actions.

  • HR users and recruiters review screening results.
  • Authorized users send offers to interviewed candidates.

Open Careers > Job Applications > Applicant Screening.

Permission gates found:

  • Page route: jobPortal.view_interview
  • Send offer action: jobPortal.send_offer_jobapplication

The page shows screened candidates and screening statistics such as total screened, interview scheduled, interviewed, and offer made.

Screening data can include:

  • Candidate and job details.
  • Application status.
  • Screening score.
  • Test or interview-related score fields where available.
  • Offer details when an offer has already been made.

The sidebar includes a Job Title filter with All Jobs as the default.

Action What it does
Send Offer Opens the offer modal for selected eligible candidates.
Generate screening score Creates an initial screening score when available.
Recalculate screening Recalculates an existing screening score.
Delete screening score Removes the screening score.

Offers can be sent only to applications in Interviewed.

The offer modal asks for:

Field Rule
Offered Salary Required and must be a positive number.
Joining Date Required and cannot be in the past.

If the selected application already has an offer, the page shows:

An offer has already been sent to this applicant.

If no selected application is eligible, the page shows:

Only Interviewed applications can receive an offer.

Status Meaning
Selected for Offer Candidate is selected before sending the offer.
Offer Made Offer has been sent.
Offer Accepted Candidate accepted the offer.
Offer Declined Candidate declined the offer.
Offer Expired Offer expired.
  1. Open Applicant Screening.
  2. Filter by job if needed.
  3. Select the interviewed candidate.
  4. Review screening score and related candidate information.
  5. Select Send Offer.
  6. Enter offered salary and joining date.
  7. Confirm Send Offer.
  8. The candidate can accept or decline the offer from the candidate side.

The backend accepts candidate offer decisions only when the application is in Offer Made.
