Requisitions
A requisition is the internal hiring request used before a job is published. It records the position, organization, department, managers, salary range, skills, priority, and approval status.
Who Uses It
Section titled “Who Uses It”- HR users create and maintain requisitions.
- Hiring managers and approvers review submitted requisitions.
- Recruiters use approved requisitions to prepare jobs.
How to Access
Section titled “How to Access”Open Careers > Requisitions.
Permission required:
jobPortal.view_requisitionto view requisitions.jobPortal.add_requisitionto create a requisition.jobPortal.change_requisitionto edit a requisition.
All Requisitions
Section titled “All Requisitions”The list page shows requisitions and quick stats such as Total Requisitions, Submitted, and Draft.
Filters

Use Reset to clear filters.
Available Actions
Section titled “Available Actions”| Action | What it does |

| Create Requisition | Opens the requisition wizard. |
| Submit | Submits the selected requisition for review. |
| View | Opens the requisition detail page. |
| Edit | Opens edit mode when the requisition can still be changed. |
| Delete | Removes the requisition. |
Create Requisition
Section titled “Create Requisition”The requisition form is a multi-step wizard. The final review step shows:

Important fields include:

| Designation / Position Title | Describes the role being requested. |
| Number of Positions | Sets how many people are needed. |
| Employment Type | Full-time, Part-time, Contract, or Internship. |
| Hiring Manager | Person responsible for hiring. |
| Reporting Manager | Person the hire will report to. |
| Job Level | Role seniority. |
| Work Location Type | Office, Hybrid, or Remote. |
| Salary Range and Currency | Budget information for the role. |
| Priority and Urgency Reason | Hiring urgency. |
| Required Skills | Skills needed for the role. |
| Minimum Qualification and Experience | Candidate requirements. |
| Expected Start Date | Planned joining timeline. |
| Job Description | Description used for the hiring request. |
Save or Submit
Section titled “Save or Submit”- Fill in the required fields.
- Review the requisition.
- Select Save Draft to keep it editable.
- Select Submit for Approval to send it to reviewers.

Statuses
Section titled “Statuses”| Status | What happens next |
|---|---|
| Draft | The requisition can be edited and submitted. |
| Submitted | Approvers can approve or reject it. |
| Approved | It can be used for job creation/publishing. |
| Rejected | The rejection reason is saved. It may need revision. |
| Published | The requisition has moved into the published hiring flow. |
Approval and Rejection
Section titled “Approval and Rejection”- Open a submitted requisition.
- Review the details.
- Select Approve to approve it.
- Select Reject to reject it.
- If rejecting, enter Rejection Reason.
The rejection reason is required when rejecting a requisition.
