Attendance Overview

Attendance is the QTO ERP module for daily time tracking and absence management. It records work sessions, manual and scheduled breaks, calculated hours, leave requests, correction requests, team visibility, and the settings that control shift behavior.

The implementation is permission-driven. The pages and buttons shown to each user depend on assigned Attendance permissions and the employee hierarchy configured in the system.

Area What it does
Clock In / Clock Out Starts and ends an employee work session.
Breaks Records manual Break In / Break Out activity and configured scheduled breaks.
Attendance Records Lists recorded sessions with dates, times, break time, buffer hours, overtime, under hours, working hours, statuses, and actions.
Team Overview Shows team-level attendance status for users with team access.
Corrections Lets employees request changes to clock and break times, then routes them through review.
Leave Management Handles leave requests, approval workflows, balances, leave records, and unpaid absence records.
Calendars Provides personal, team, leave, and events/holidays calendar views.
Settings Controls shifts, break times, work calendar dates, overtime rules, leave policies, approval chains, overtime policies, and buffer policies.
User type Typical use
Employee Record Clock In, Clock Out, Break In, Break Out, apply for leave, review personal records, and submit corrections.
Team lead or manager Review team attendance and subordinate leave or correction information when permissions allow it.
HR or administrator Manage attendance records, review corrections, process leave, maintain shifts and policies, and export data.

  1. Open Attendance and select Clock In.
  2. Use Break In and Break Out for manual breaks.
  3. Select Clock Out when the work session ends.
  4. Review the created entry in Attendance Records.
  5. Use Make Correction Request if a recorded time is wrong.
